We endure additional vandalism at the soccer park.  Between 7/9/06 and 7/13/06, trespassers damaged 2 practice goals, turned over our portable toilet and destroyed field signs.  Incident Number A1-1488689 was filed with the state police on 7/13/06.  Anyone who has information on trespassers performing this criminal mischief are encouraged to contact Loyalhanna United Soccer Club at (724) 834-2795 or e-mail: info@loyalhanna.org.

There continues to be criminal mischief issues at the Soccer Park storage building.  The State Police are investigating the latest window breakage.  We estimate the damage to the storage building to be $500-$600 dollars.  The incident number with the Pennsylvania State Police is A01-1425207.  If anyone has information on the criminals who are putting your soccer park at risk on Bethel Church Road in Youngstown, PA, please contact the State Police at (724) 832-3288 or Loyalhanna United Soccer Club at (724) 834-2795.

April 21, 2005

Construction on the pavilion has begun.  Please be careful around the construction area near field USA.  We will be pushing to have the pavilion complete by the end of May 2005.

April 16, 2005

Brett Tryon begins a Eagle Scout project to build 10 picnic table for Loyalhanna Soccer Park.  The benches will be use at the pavilion that will be built in April/May 2005. Brett and his crew donated their time and effort along with finding sponsors to purchase the materials required.  The following companies donated materials or funds to purchase materials - OC Cluss Lumber - Greensburg, PA,  Westmoreland Electric, Inc - Tarrs, PA, and Equipco- Bridgeville, PA, Long Construction Company, Greensburg, PA.

Extremely wet weather has delayed the opening of the fields at the soccer park and the construction of the pavilion.

We have begun cutting the grass on the fields.  Storm run off ditches have been created to provide protection for the fields and the access road.

Finish grading and seeding upgrades of the fields almost complete.  Loyalhanna United now leases the soccer park from Soccerhound Development Company.  Loyalhanna United Soccer Club is responsible for field maintenance and development of the soccer park for future enjoyment..

We continue to experience criminal activities at Loyalhanna Soccer Park.  Recently our storage building was broken into.  Interior walls and windows were damaged and defaced.  Soccer equipment and an air conditioning unit was damaged. October 15, 2003

All five fields have now been seeded and mulched.  We are on schedule to begin playing on these fields beginning September 2004.  Access roads and parking lots are being upgraded.

September 26, 2003

Plans are in place to allow Loyalhanna United Soccer Club play it's games at a new complex beginning in August 2004.  This project has been a goal of the club since it's inception in November 1998. The present board of directors support this new development and relationship with Soccerhound Development Company LLC who acquired the land, specified the construction parameters, and built the fields.  Loyalhanna United will maintain and operate the facility for it's non-profit charitable activities.

Vandals  have recently attempted to destroy our new fields and may have put the opening date in jeopardy.  See the article below from the Latrobe Bulletin.  If anyone has information on the vandals who ride illegally along Bethel Church Road in Youngstown, PA, please contact the State Police at (724) 832-3288 or Loyalhanna United Soccer Club.
